With the heat creeping in to theMother Lode the last few weeks, I've been forced to move my clay efforts into the house (the studio is not air conditioned yet). That's had a really wonderful effect on my work.
My space in the house is very limited, and of course throwing on the potter's wheel is out of the question, so I've been working on little sculptures.
Starting with pinch pots about the size of baseballs, I've been able to stretch my skills and imagination further than I would have thought I could. The resulting menagerie has me very excited!
